The Spartan Spinners Square Dance Club is a non-profit organization
dedicated to the preservation of modern western square dancing. Our
goal is to spread the good will of square dancing and the fun and
fellowship that follows with club membership. The main condition for
membership is to have dedicated oneself for a short time to learn the
mainstream steps of square dancing. Once graduated from a club
class, you will be welcome at all mainstream club dances throughout
the area and beyond.
Square dance clubs are found throughout the U. S. and in many
overseas countries.

The Spartan Spinners want YOU TO LEARN TO SQUARE DANCE. We are gearing up to
gather together as many people as we can that might want to learn to square dance. We'll be
teaching the basic moves of square dancing starting in early September. After learning the basics,
you will also learn what are referred to as Mainstream moves. After dancing a year or so, plus
lessons will also be offered to those who feel ready to progress. Our class nights are Thursday
night at the Woodland Heights elementary school on Rt. 296.
The Spinners have just welcomed into our club the newest dancers to come out of Tom's class
on Thursday nights. Plus lessons are now taking place on Thursday nights at Woodland Heights.
ONCE YOU LEARN TO DANCE THIS STYLE OF SQUARE DANCING, YOU CAN
DANCE AT ANY MAINSTREAM CLUB THROUGHOUT AMERICA AND IN MOST
FOREIGN COUNTRIES. FOREIGN COUNTRIES TEACH THIS DANCE IN THE
AMERICAN LANGUAGE.
Learn to dance the real folk dance of the America people; started right here in the U. S. A.
